As promised from my last post, September reading journal set up, I am going to share what I use in my September Spread! As much as I am a bookworm, I am also a huge stationery geek! This obviously means I have a huge unnecessary supply of all sorts. I’m from the UK so some of the shops listed won’t be able in other countries, however I’m sure that some dupes could be found!
September Habit Tracker
To me this page is quite simple compared to the rest of the spread! For the chart, I used a black fine liner along with Stabilo highlighters. The stickers I used for the heading are from Hobbycraft. I love the mismatched look with the different fonts! Unfortunately, Hobbycraft no longer stock these stickers but they still have some amazing stickers on their website! The “Everyday” sticker was also from Hobbycraft but by a brand called La De Dah. Maybe Hobbycraft stopped selling them because of the strange name, but Amazon seems to disagree! I found the exact same sticker flip book even if it is an add on.
September To Be Read Spread
One of my favourite pages out of this months spread! The stack of books were also drawn in a regular black fine liner and the colour that fills them are the Stabilo Premium Felt Tips also from Amazon. For the heading I saved myself some money and actually just used some wallpaper samples! I went through a scrap- booking phase and I tended to want a lot of patterned paper, but it was always so expensive! I would definitely recommend ordering some free wallpaper samples, it’s a great hack!
I’m not sure if you can tell I’m a fan of Stabilo, as yet again I have used their mini fine liners for the quote at the bottom. If it was my choice, I would love to use a Tombow calligraphy pen, but they’re a bit out of my budget.
Favourite Book Quotes Spread
Love a good quote and love a cute spread! I have some butterfly embellishments to go with the whole open book and open page vibe I was kind of going for! The Works stocks a lot of gorgeous craft supplies and I found the butterflies from there! Other stickers are from Hobbycraft and Lah De Dah comes in handy again for the “imagine” sticker. The stickers used for the heading are from a brand called Thickers. They were a bit pricey, but as they’re pretty cute I’ll let it slide.
Favourite Book Of September Spread
Using my trusty stabilo felt tips and fine liners, I drew the book and the title. To accompany them, I found some stickers from Paperchase! Paperchase is one of my go to stationery stores as the quality of their products are amazing! They have a ton of stickers and I’ve linked that so all of you stationery lovers can look at all of them! The adhesive topper at the bottom is no longer in stock anymore, but for anyone interested I found them in a card making section!
September Playlist
Last but not least I have my September Playlist spread! There isn’t much on this page and I might add in some more stickers to add to the page. The “Beauty In Bloom” topper is not in stock as is the floral piece next to it. But there are many substitutes for them like using an old, cute card and cutting it out! I’m sure there are way more creative ways to decorate a page like this anyway!
I hope you found this post useful and I guess a little insightful? Sometimes we don’t need all the fancy supplies in life! If you have any questions, please let me know by either dropping a comment or through social media! I have an IGTV video up all about this spread! My next blog post is one you all helped out with over on Instagram! Placing books into Hogwarts houses, this should be interesting!
